Home work and self assessment

Amidst the turmoil of events, don’t lose your presence of mind: the Counterbalance strategy: in the heat of battle, the mind tends to lose its balance. It is vital t keep your presence of mind, maintaining your mental powers, whatever may be the circumstances. Make the mind tougher by exposing it to adversity. Learn to detach yourself from the chaos of the battle field!

You may have to encounter with some real-time issues while moving with your project let’s discuss some effective techniques to handle them.

1. “The Team”- Spirit: - Give a makeover to your Idea into a Team campaign. The secret in motivating people and maintaining their spirit is to get them to think less about themselves and more about the team. Involve them in a cause, a collective movement towards the goal. Make them see their identity as tied to the accomplishment of the team as a whole.

2. Know your Limits: - We all have certain limitations-our energies and skills will take us only so far. You must know your limits and set your milestones parameters carefully. Consider the hidden costs of a plan: time lost, goodwill wasted, an illusion of mirages. Sometimes it is better to wait, to launch your project or a developing stage for the appropriate date and time. Too earlier and too later ideas won’t perform better. Demand and supply must go with hand-in hand for optimum result from an investment. A dollar not wasted is equal to a dollar you earned.

3. Update your plans: What most often kicks you down and brings you agony are the same old techniques. We can’t sell the old wine only by changing the bottle more than over a period of time. Ensure the quality in delivery by investing in yourself for periodical updates; do not repeat the same drowsy old school methods. Place yourself in front of a wall or at the bottom of a mountain which demands a steady and continuous effort to overcome and be responsible for every single detail. Unleash your talent and keep a balance on your mind, leaving no ground for a lazy cat-make everything volatile and mobile. Remember that the quality often served better with uniqueness and clarity rather than luxury.

4. Chain process: While engaging in group discussions, don’t allow yourself to fall in with relatively similar propaganda put forward by your team. Make a list of things and let the group to engage with it whatever may be the analysis the focus should not be distract from end result. Discuss and develop the idea and let the team feel that they are obsessed with the result and not being embarrassed with your “Bossing’. Design it as a series of simple and clear chain of process which can be developed in individual ideas. Always appreciate the team in a whole and individual in case of outstanding performances and show the boldness in taking responsibility in both implementation of risks and drawbacks. Once you have received an output from a trial run explain the reason for malfunctions and take countermeasures.

5. Exploit the resources: Use your resources wisely whether it is an idea or a commodity in order to make the best out of it. Freelance workers can contribute quality work in low budget rather than a professional. Make sure your presence and update timely in social media platforms. Use Linked in, fiver, like platforms wisely to promote your business through digital marketing. Sponsoring local competitions, participation of social service and public functions related to your business marketing can shoot up the reach of your business. Don’t be shy to ask for a reference from closed by circles and professional networks.

6. Routines: Conduct morning meetings at the starting, middle and end of a week. Brief your team about daily, weekly plans and conduct review meeting in fortnight period to evaluate the progress (depending upon the time slot allotted for a task). Congratulate performer of the month and year to encourage them and make them more reliable to you. Practice self service model of pantry and save the workforce from an extra expenditure.

7. Think out of box: Dare to leap in time without hesitation to get to the other side. If you are confident about the plan the least possible chance can brought you a great achievement. Divide the task into fragments and coordinate them. The project management techniques (say, CPM-PERT), Reverse clock, Progress charts and daily summary Messages can help you in time saving. Quality and customer retention must be checked in time. Customer meets can helps you to strengthen the bond between brand and market.

8. Skill development campaigns and programs are offered by several corporate and organizations in recent time. Be an active presence in those programs. In future you can consider an in house trainer to train your employees in hired or owned. Avoid petty issues and let the senior most people to handle with your guidelines.

9. Startup business has to be building up with a work culture which holds some ethics and values. Do not compromise them for monitory or temporary benefits even though the path ahead is consisted with stones and thorns. Once you succeeded in encounter an issue doesn’t mean that the sea is calm. Your ship must go through high waves and tides only thing that will vary is the courage and confidence of captain after every successful crossing.
